BKC found great success recently in 3 Division 10 races for weekend.
Bludenz Fahrt
In the first of two Austrian challenges, there were many attacks but it all came together before the final climb. Sancho Yuste made a risky but powerful move early on and unhitched the main selection. He never looked back or relinquished any of his lead, stealing what was an epic solo victory.
1st - Sancho Yuste
3rd - Edzard Schreiber
4th - Guilherme Meira
Tennant Creek Race
The inspiration from Bludenz stuck with the team, most of all with our youngster Lennart Rosenberg. The course was similar and seemed set for another Yuste solo move, but (unbeknownst to the team management) he and Rosenberg had agreed to let the Dane have a shot at the finale. He did not disappoint, attacking early and holding off the chase for an impressive win.
1st - Lennart Rosenberg
5th - Sancho Yuste
6th - Jonte Ullberg
Tirol GP
Tactics changed this time around, with the race to be set up for Guilherme Meira. The pace was fast for the first few passes of the Tirol, with only one attack succeeding early on consisting of 6 riders, including Meira and Lex Huisman. The two had some stiff competition in the form of Team Kazakh's Karsten de Maerschalk, a former top-10 finisher in the Norway Tour, RotM and Volta ao Porto. Meira and Huisman collaborated well to set a high tempo and keep the group away. On the final ascent of the Tirol, after Huisman finished his turn on the front he formed a roadblock for Meira to launch his attack. The group floundered about and attempted to organize a chase, but by the time they started to gain time, Meira was already raising his arms as a champion. Huisman, after resting while the others paced, out-sprinted his companions for second.
1st - Guilherme Meira
2nd - Lex Huisman
7th - Sancho Yuste
